I saw a bounce and spin zebra toy for $18.00…Would this be fun for my 2 yr old son and what age does it go up 2?

Do you have this fisher price toy and Does it sometimes go off out of the blue when nobody has been around it or anything. Or is it only my daughters toy that malfunctions and scares the crap out of me in the dark!? lol

I want it soooo bad! I saw it in the shop the other day but it didn't have a price because they were setting up for a big toy sale that starts in a week or so. Does anyone know how much it costs?
I *could* wait for the sale but I really don't want to, I want it NOW! just wondering if anyone knew what the RRP is, and if its not too expensive,

Anyone have that ride-on Zebra? How does your child like it?
My son will be 1 in October, and I wanted to get him that ride-on Zebra (Bounce & Spin Zebra, I think it's called). I went to Toys-R-Us the other day and was informed that they don't make it anymore, so I got him a ride-on Turtle instead. It's supposedly the exact same as the Zebra, but just a Turtle.

How much money should I spend on my Son's first birthday?
I was thinking about spending about $100 on 1 big gift (Fisher price gymnastics bounce and spin zebra), and 4-5 smaller gifts (Peek-a-boo Monkey jack-in-the-box, and some others), and spending about $50 on the fixings for red velvet cupcakes, and decorations. What do you think?
